On the Woodbine Road there's a Utilities Kingston Depot, usually deserted.  It's well weathered, and quiet despite its proximity to Gardiner's Road and Highway 401.

I've long been fascinated by these extraordinary buildings that house road salt and grit.  There's no internal structure, just a huge wooden dome on a concrete ring.  They look as if they should be loaded from the top, but there's no opening at the apex.  This one is actually very large when you get close to it, and the internal space is gigantic.  Acoustically, it's surprisingly dead inside.
